There are two ways to connect an IO extension to an IO server.<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Connection with single wires, sheathed cable or twisted pair (max. 150m)<\/li>\n
  2. Connection with a flat ribbon cable<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

    It should be noted that:<\/h3>\n

    When connecting an extension, the slide switch on the first device (IO server) and only on the last device (extension) must be moved to the left; this also applies to several extensions. In the case of extensions connected in between, the slide switch must be pushed to the right.<\/p>\n<\/div>
