The Smart Shuttle System is an autonomous transport system that combines assembly support, transport operations and warehouse automation. For this purpose, a self-learning modular system is created with the help of artificial intelligence. Here, in addition to the user-friendliness and cost-efficiency of the software, the modularity of the individual components in the process should be ensured. Furthermore, the programming of the digital application should be possible without IT specialists.

The shuttle system is intended to support small and medium-sized companies in particular by automating the three production-related functions. The system is intended to close an important gap in the market as well as to strengthen the location with a further business area in the field of automation and to create additional jobs.

The project is supported by the Ministry of Economics’ InnoTop technology development program, which is co-financed by the Europäischer Fonds für regionale Entwicklung (EFRE).
