Energy management (DIN EN ISO 50001)

Energy management corresponds to the continuous improvement of energy requirements.

In order to implement this transparently and efficiently, an energy management system is used here. These systems continuously evaluate the energy demand and thus indicate saving potentials. You can also take over complete processes such as roller shutter, lighting or heating controls.

There are many reasons to choose such a system:

                  • Reduction of CO2 emissions
                  • Reduction of energy costs
                  • Increasing competitiveness
                  • Simplification of technical operational procedures
                  • Environmental awareness

Important for industrial companies!

As of 2015, the application for peak balancing will only be fulfilled if the following conditions are met.

            • Certification according to DIN EN ISO 50001 (standard for EnM)
            • An Energy Management System (EnMS)
            • Annual proof of energy reduction of 0.9%-2.2% (depending on company size and department)

The potential savings are enormous:

4%-40% realizable cost savings through long-term establishment of an energy management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001. But it is not only in industry that money can be saved through automation. There are also many private application examples to effectively reduce your energy requirements.

Lighting (up to 31%)

  • Replacement of illuminants with more economical technologies
  • Reduce unnecessary switch-on times (using motion or presence detectors)
  • Automatic dimming functions
  • Central-OFF function

Heating/air conditioning (up to 25%)

  • Targeted regulation of individual rooms
  • Lowering temperatures during longer absences
  • Automatic heating switch-off when windows are opened

Sun protection (up to 13%)

  • Benefits of automated shading in the summer months (savings on air conditioning systems)
  • Targeted use of solar heat in the winter months

You see:

Due to rising energy prices, the reduction of energy demand is becoming more and more important.
to the forefront. Both for industry and the private sector.
